Tasty Yo Charlotte, NC

In my mind it is now officially summer. With that the temperature and humidity have both been on the rise in Charlotte. Mid 90′s temperatures and humidity can make for some very uncomfortable days. I have found that frozen yogurt can help relieve the discomfort.

Tasty Yo is the place to go for Frozen Yogurt in Charlotte. The rest of Charlotte agrees, Tasty Yo received this year’s BOB (Best of the Best) award for Best Frozen Yogurt!

Looks like a great place for some yogurt, right? Everyday, Tasty Yo offers its original flavor and an additional rotating flavor. You can get each flavor individually, or you can swirl the two of them together. When I was there they had their blueberry acai.

Here is the original being completed with the addition of the toppings! There are around 30 to choose from so let you imagination and taste buds be you guide. Personally, I enjoy the fresh strawberries, granola and coconut.

Here is the brains behind the operation, Mishie Goldstein. I actually went to high school with Mishie, so when I found out that Tasty Yo was her family’s operation, I had to come in and give it a try. When living in CA, I fell in love with frozen yogurt. I was so glad to have yogurt in NC! But how did it stack up against the CA yogurt?  I was not disappointed. It was cool and refreshing. The blueberry and acai was full of flavor! But really, you will just need to try it for your self,  so if you have not stopped by Tasty Yo, I suggest you do!
