Super Bowl Grilling

If your Super Bowl Sunday was anything like mine, I am sure you are still full this morning. The Super Bowl combines two of my favorite things. Eating and Football! I did plenty of both yesterday.  Earlier in the week I had a Souper Bowl, unfortunately the soup didn’t last until Sunday ( the downsides of making food ahead of time is I tend to eat it all, woops). With the Soup gone, I went with two of my favorite game day foods…

Chicken Wings and Brats! I marinaded the wings in a Tangy Vinegar marinade, but it needs a little more work before I share it with you. The Brats were cooked in beer and onions. I wanted to take pictures, but I thought that grilling would translate better to video. I want to get better at video this year, so here is my second attempt at it.

I know some of you might be alarmed that I put ketchup on my brat. I apologize, but I am more of a ketchup fan than a mustard fan! Super Bowl Sunday is one of the best days of the year! On the Monday after the Super Bowl the harsh realization that football season is over begins to set in. It will be quite strange this weekend, not to see any football on TV. Is it August yet?

mallory m - i’m assuming that’s your weiner dog in the video? (s)he’s just the cutest!

the video was pretty cool too…. your music selection provided an interesting take on grilling that i really enjoyed — my version isn’t quite that subdued :)

Taylor - yes they are my mom’s dogs. There are actually two of them. The one on the ground is Oscar and the one being held is Murphy.

The music is still a work in progress, the whole sound component is the biggest difference from stills to video, taking some adjusting to figure out what to do there. Glad you liked it!

Sara - I love the video, Taylor! Those brats look so good, although I’m more of a mustard fan.
