soup when its cold, gelato when it is warm

Have you ever wondered what gelato places do in the winter or what soup places do in the summer? Well why not serve both!

That is  what the folks at Two Spoons do. During this trip to Boulder, it was summer with perfect weather for gelato. The gelato at Two Spoons is made on site from the freshest local ingredients.

I decided to go with the Orange Cream Gelato. I can’t hold mine and take a picture of it at the same time ( If only I was talented enough to do that) so Jackie’s friend Anna was kind enough to be a hand model for me.

I had always wondered what gelato places did when the weather was cold. Gelato is amazing for warm spring and summer days. It is light and refreshing, the perfect treat to cool down with. When the weather is cold gelato is not exactly my first choice in food. It gets pretty cold in Boulder during the winter, so serving soup is a great idea. I can not vouch for the soup at Two Spoons, but if it is anything like their Gelato then if ever make a winter trip to Boulder, I will definitely have to give the soup a try.
