Summer nights of course. While in college, I spent the summers after my freshmen, sophomore and junior years in Madison (after graduation moved directly to California). I could not even begin to count how many summer nights I spent at the Terrace. Hanging out with friends, eating ice cream, and when I was old enough consuming this…

For me, the Terrace is not all about eating and drinking. It has played a pivotal role in where I am today. It might surprised you, but my degree from Wisconsin is not in photography or anything related to food. I majored in Personal Finance ( I was planning on getting my CFP and being a financial planner), well things change and as I entered my senior year I realized that is not the career path that I wanted to pursue. I had always been into photography and took a chance with my work and submitted it for an art show at the Union. I got a show ,started selling some of my work, and the next thing I knew, I was moving to California to go to photography school. Here is an example of some of the terrace stuff that was in the show.

Hawk’s Madison, WI - [...] My favorite time of year to eat at Hawk’s is during the spring, summer, or fall (really anytime there is not snow on the ground and sub freezing temperatures). Why not winter? When it is winter, you can not sit in their amazing outdoor seating. It is a great place to relax, eat, and take part in Madison’s second best people watching spot (Best People watching is here). [...]
